Creature 8, more commonly known as Light Beasts are creatures that emit light while wandering through The Voidclusters. This helps them see in dark levels. They have been shown to have extreme intelligence, and are able to track down wanderers for months. They are most commonly found in levels with open space, but there are some occasions where this is not the case. See Level 3.
